You may know the basics, maybe set up your own loom and woven some patterns and need a refresher or have never woven before and would love to have a go.

This two day course will take you through the whole process of winding a warp and dressing a loom to weaving cloth. Jan will provide you with all the tips, tricks and techniques to ease your journey into weaving.

Honeycomb weaving creates a cell like structure resembles a bee's honeycomb. You will weave a piece of fabric on the day that could be used to make a small cushion. This course will suit beginners and weavers wanting to develop their skills further. Looms will be setup and ready to go on the day

Monk's Belt is a block weave, woven with a supplementary weft on a pain weave ground.

Perfect introduction to weaving but also weavers wanting to develop further. The 4 shaft table looms will be set up so you can discover how all these patterns are made. You will weave something suitable as a cushion, place mat/runner or wall hanging.

This popular two day workshop is designed to teach you how to warp up or dress your loom on the first day before moving on to experimenting with colour, texture and pattern on the second day. .A perfect introduction to weaving for beginners. It is aimed at both those who have bought looms and would like to learn to warp up or those thinking of buying. Jan will have the warps prepared but will explain how you prepare a warp using a warping board. if you have an Ashford tabletop four or eight shaft loom or similar and you would like to bring it please check direct with Jan that it is suitable.

Introduction to weaving, exploring the use of colour and texture. On the is course you'll learn to set up a 4 shaft table loom and be able to follow weaving patterns.

Already a weaver this is a perfect opportunity to expand your weaving skills and  work on your own individual project

A 4 Shaft Ashford table loom will be provided and a small charge will be made for materials
